Pros
• Work-life balance • Has company-wide events • Office-based type but allows WAH (depends on the client) • Very lenient on rules (so the VAs tend to abuse it) • Supportive management • Agency-type BPO company. Will act as a middleman for you. • Will help you to find a client that fits you. • Work environment is tolerable. • Chance for career progression/growth.
Cons
• Nepotism (others are fine, but most are not). • Some VAs take advantage of the leniency in the company house rules—they tend to get upset when things don’t go their way, especially regarding requests for WFH, even though they signed an office-based contract. Same goes for the company incentive called RAB. • HR isn’t seen as a strong authority. • There’s no food concessionaire inside, so VAs end up selling food randomly in Teams, which has led to issues with food theft. • Slow computers hinder productivity. Upgrading to better equipment would help. • Proper onboarding is needed for employees. It’s also important to train Operations staff on how to coach VAs effectively. • Bullying is an issue. Escalating and resolving these cases is difficult because everyone works with different clients, which creates stress and a sense of unfairness. • The salary is on the lower side (this depends on the client you work for). • The HMO (eTiQa) benefit is insufficient.
