Pros
Loved my clients (well, the one that I had when I was promised, 14 from the start), plus my small group people
Cons
I would take anything that has said to you in the interview with a grain of salt (especially if you’re female-at first, I thought it was because I was the newbie, but now I see it was just women at this gym) Interviewed for a full-time head, trainer position, was told I would have 14 clients from their mock list… I get there and I end up having one (3/14 got injured/worked mand OT, but the math isn’t mathing) I would get stuck on the class, nobody wanted, while somebody who was hired the week before me had multiple clients and I had one They lied to people, because I was told this would be full-time and I’m so glad I didn’t leave my other job because $40 for two weeks isn’t worth it… I find out later that there was an occurrence that I forgot to put a client on my schedule, even though they worked out with me and the manager knew about it, and he told the other coworker that I should’ve put it on my schedule and never mentioned it to me, even when I questioned my pay for those two weeks (never said a word) I’m not the only person that was given false promises, as there was another girl who was hired under the impression, she would be a personal trainer, when really, the manager wanted an admin, so he didn’t have to work Saturdays (she figured out that she was being lied to, and left) Communication leaves much to be desired as two group classes were rescheduled, and I wasn’t even given the courtesy of being notified until the moment of when I live half hour away Not a great workplace
