Pros
You get to watch movies and most of the people there are great to talk to. Since it is a small company, you get a ton of hands on work with different technologies.
Cons
The owners are either naive or have no idea whats happening, but the culture had taken a turn for the worst. The benefits package is not competitive at all., very outdated. You only get the minimum days off per year, nothing more, nothing less. Insurance rates are high, and you are only allotted 15 days a year for sick and vacation. (unless you are upper management, then you can take weeks off at a time). Since the company is small, there is a TON of work to do. You are constantly on-call (there is no rotation), and there is no such thing as change management here. You pretty much have to drop everything for another project. Work/life balance is terrible, so if you have kids, recommend you don't work here. Bad mouthing employees behind their backs, extravagant trips (with no regards to updating infrastructure), really made this company hard to work for. False promises are made when you are in the hiring process (make sure you get everything in writing when you are hiring, because they will not honor anything). Also, this place can kill your career path, no upwards movement here, or even a plan. It is sad, because the owners are nice people, there are just too many people trying to call the shots. You have to be very, very careful of the promises during the hiring process.
