The main job of a service technician is to service and maintain the products. Cutting their salary by up to 20% is ridiculous considering the hard work they put into servicing all the products. They use their own time, their own cars for travel, and even pay for parking and tolls. In addition to their technical duties, they are also required to send invoices and follow up on overdue payments. Therefore, it is unfair to cut 20% of their salary just because there are no sales. Sales should not be the main factor in evaluating a service technician’s performance.
