Pros
I’ve had a genuinely positive experience working at Dental Intelligence. The teams here stand out, not just for how hard they work, but for how they show up for each other. There’s a strong culture of kindness and accountability, which makes a real difference in day-to-day collaboration. Our HR team is top-notch and truly cares about our team.
One thing that consistently impresses me is how well leadership connects company goals back to our mission and values. It’s not just something that lives on a slide, it shows up in how decisions are made and how success is defined. There’s clear alignment across the organization, which helps teams stay focused and effective. Each quarter, we focus on 3-5 "company rocks" (priorities) and build cross-functional teams to drive them forward. These teams report back in our monthly townhall meetings on the progress.
Recognition is also a meaningful part of the culture. Each month, high performers are called out for exemplifying our mission, vision, and values. It doesn’t feel performative, it reinforces what actually matters and highlights the behaviors that drive the company forward.
Most importantly, the work itself is impactful. We’re building products that genuinely improve the lives of dental providers and their teams. That sense of purpose, combined with a strong, values-driven culture, makes this a place where people can do great work and feel good about it.
Cons
Because the teams are highly driven and committed, the pace can be demanding at times, especially during key initiatives or periods of growth.
There is a strong emphasis on accountability and performance, which is a positive overall, but may feel intense for individuals who prefer a more relaxed environment.
Like many mission-driven organizations, there can be a tendency to take on a lot at once in pursuit of impact, which sometimes leads to competing priorities.
With relatively recent leadership changes, there is still some uncertainty around the new CEO. Many employees are looking for deeper engagement in the business, closer connection with customers and partners, and a stronger demonstrated understanding of the dental industry.
