We appreciate your feedback, and know recognition is important. We’re working to develop new ways to reward team members for their contributions & to celebrate successes. This undertaking is challenging due to the fact that nearly 50% of our team live outside of Utah. Despite this hurdle, we’ve been piloting new recognition ideas & tools, as well as working to create more opportunities for team members living in the same local areas to come together for volunteer activities, lunches, happy hours etc… If you have additional suggestions or ideas on this front, please reach out to the HR Team.

Pros

I’ve had a genuinely positive experience working at Dental Intelligence. The teams here stand out, not just for how hard they work, but for how they show up for each other. There’s a strong culture of kindness and accountability, which makes a real difference in day-to-day collaboration. Our HR team is top-notch and truly cares about our team. One thing that consistently impresses me is how well leadership connects company goals back to our mission and values. It’s not just something that lives on a slide, it shows up in how decisions are made and how success is defined. There’s clear alignment across the organization, which helps teams stay focused and effective. Each quarter, we focus on 3-5 "company rocks" (priorities) and build cross-functional teams to drive them forward. These teams report back in our monthly townhall meetings on the progress. Recognition is also a meaningful part of the culture. Each month, high performers are called out for exemplifying our mission, vision, and values. It doesn’t feel performative, it reinforces what actually matters and highlights the behaviors that drive the company forward. Most importantly, the work itself is impactful. We’re building products that genuinely improve the lives of dental providers and their teams. That sense of purpose, combined with a strong, values-driven culture, makes this a place where people can do great work and feel good about it.

Cons

Because the teams are highly driven and committed, the pace can be demanding at times, especially during key initiatives or periods of growth. There is a strong emphasis on accountability and performance, which is a positive overall, but may feel intense for individuals who prefer a more relaxed environment. Like many mission-driven organizations, there can be a tendency to take on a lot at once in pursuit of impact, which sometimes leads to competing priorities. With relatively recent leadership changes, there is still some uncertainty around the new CEO. Many employees are looking for deeper engagement in the business, closer connection with customers and partners, and a stronger demonstrated understanding of the dental industry.

Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback about your experience at DI. We’re incredibly grateful for team members like you who contribute to the culture, collaboration, and mission-driven mindset that make this company special. It’s especially meaningful to hear that our values, recognition programs, and cross-functional teamwork are resonating in day-to-day work. We’ve worked hard to create an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and connected to the impact we’re making for dental practices and their teams. We also appreciate your candid feedback around pace, prioritization, and leadership transition. As we continue to grow, maintaining focus and clarity while supporting our teams remains a top priority. We recognize that periods of change can create uncertainty, and we’re committed to strengthening communication, deepening engagement across the business, and staying closely connected to the needs of our customers and the dental industry. Thank you again for your perspective and for being part of the journey. Feedback like this helps us continue building a stronger company and culture together.

Pros

- Benefits are awesome! Paid parental leave is nice. - Flexible schedule and I can work from home when I need to. - My manager, my team and the teams I work with are all phenomenal. - I have so many opportunities to grow. Not just in my position but as a professional working in a software company that is also growing and evolving. - People here genuinely care about one another. - I'm part of a team that makes progress, while solving hard problems. - Our product is cool, and it does a ton for our customers - We are heading in the right direction from a product development, customer success and internal support standpoint

Cons

- Growing pains are real. Sometime we still feel like a scrappy start up. - I can see why it's difficult for remote employees to feel included sometimes.

Thanks for this feedback! Seriously, we might frame and hang it. "Phenomenal teams solving hard problems” is speaking our love language. We’re glad the benefits, flexibility, and *most importantly* the People, are showing up in the ways that matter. Also, shoutout to you for calling out the growing pains. We are still a bit scrappy… (think “startup energy” with better snacks and more Slack channels.) However, we’re working to make sure that scrappiness doesn’t come at the expense of clarity or inclusion, especially for our remote teammates. We appreciate the feedback, AND You being an important part of what makes DI awesome!!
