Staff snacks while on shift

Constant favouritism towards certain young women, especially those who share living accommodations with management. Standards are non-existent, even though they claim otherwise during induction. Company values are only on paper, nothing else. Hours being given primarily to friends of management, not evenly shared between people having the same position of employement. Shift hours constantly being cut short, under the excuse of bussinness needs, but only from those of us who don't attend private gatherings with the management. EXPIRED FOOD/DRINKS being served to guests and on ocasion even to staff !!!! HR headoffice repeatedly failling to follow through with proper procedure for letters of grievance, and if the acused is part of management's favourites, the letters of grievance get lost alltogether ! Too many other things to detail here.

The shop staff are great, like a family. The problems you face, so do they. It's very close knit.

No staff room No vegan or gluten free staff food so if you are either of these, you have to bring your own. My managerial pay was a lower hourly rate than the new staff i was training, I regularly had to work double my alotted hours each week. Holiday pay is actually lower than what it should be. The upper management are very demeaning and disrespectful. The generic customerbase are very obnoxious and disrespectful. The company expects 110% but will literally dock your pay for supposed infractions on shift. The service charge and tips actually top your wage from the base minimum rate meaning that you dont actually recieve tips. Head office will micro manage every decision you make to suit there own business scope
