Pros
I started my career at a large regional firm in St. Louis and burned out after 4 years (slow advancement, no recognition for hard work, low pay increases, etc). I relocated to Springfield and hit the jackpot when I found this firm. Excellent opportunity for advancement, great work-life balance, variety of work and expertise in many areas of accounting/tax, recognition and advancement for hard work and dedication to the firm. Wouldn't want to work anywhere else.
Cons
Not really a con, but hours are long during tax season (like any other public accounting firm). The firm does a great job of allowing flexibility for those with families and special situations.
