Pros

Family oriented and treat you like part of the family. Managment is close at hand for feedback and input. No weekends or Holidays. Great atmosphere. Pay is good when considering the addition of commissions.

Cons

Small company, room for growth limited due to size. No set training program. Marketing is limited and the sales model is not so much going out and visiting as it is straight phone calls. Conservative company not focused on expanding and being an industry leader, more so are the followers.

Pros

Small company great culture. Farris is a small company with big dreams. The employees are great and work well within a team framework. The is almost no bureaucracy or red tape. It is an open management. Where employees are encouraged to direct concerns to senior management and work together to correct them.

Cons

Small company tight budgets and low inventory. Because Farris is a small company deciding were to invest resources can be challenging. This challenge creates other challenges for the employees. Tighter turnaround times on inventory, several back orders. The work comes in waves. Employee pay and reward structure is weak. Many employees have gone several years without reviews and raises.
