Great team spirit, but leadership needs improvement - Senior Porn Star Food52 Employee Review

I think a company like this is a great opportunity for a summer internship because I got a lot of responsibility and ability to work across multiple functions. Also a beautiful place to work and a lot of extra company perks like great food, events, etc.

Company was in a restructuring phase and therefore there were a lot of fire-drills, but I didn't find it unmanageable as long as you were flexible. It was also clear employee sentiment was low. This didn't bother me because I knew I was only there on a temporary basis.

Team mates were kind and helpful.

The ceo doesn’t care about the company but herself and her failing podcast. The only people that were saved from th massive layoffs in December beside the leadership was her podcast team. That says a lot. She still wants to live in her barstool days.
