Pros
Hoffenmer Inc is a wonderful place to work. It is not only a family-oriented company insofar as one's family and health coming first, Hoffenmer itself feels like a family - because it is a family. Management is very approachable and caring, but a professional work environment and the expectations thereof are equally maintained. The work environment is fast-paced, exciting, and due to the nature of the industry Hoffenmer works in, every day is different; there are always new things to learn, making the work itself mentally stimulating. There is a lot to learn with regard to transportation regulations governing DOT (Department of Transportation)-regulated companies, but a two-week thorough training is provided and thereafter, endless support is continually provided from other colleagues, team members and management; this is a company that values its people in every way and provides more than the necessary tools for success. It is also a place to continually grow; there is no ceiling. In a time where job-hopping to increase one's earning potential is the norm, Hoffenmer is a company where lifelong rewarding careers can be - and are built. Loyalty matters here and is rewarded, offering continued opportunities to grow. In terms of rewards, not only is compensation more than generous; the sky is the limit and work ethic is noticed. Relatedly, hard work is rewarded in the form of lavish company trips to exotic locations, sparing no expense, that serve as opportunities to bond with one another, enjoy each other and have fun. The vacation/PTO package is equally generous. There is no way to truly capture the essence and meaningfulness of Hoffenmer in a few paragraphs, it is a place that has to be experienced.
Cons
There are no true cons, you just have to be willing to learn and remain teachable due to the regulatory landscape being very organic in nature, Also, as with any service industry, you have to be willing and able to work with occasional difficult clients - but even that in and of itself is rewarding - to have such a person become a client, closing a day with a smile and satisfaction of a job well done.
