Salary - Network Analyst I Intelica Solutions Employee Review

I worked for Intelica for a year and it was my first industry position. They hired me straight out of college and it was honestly the best first job I could have asked for as I was exposed to so many different aspects of IT and had so much hands on experiences that most large companies would not offer to a junior tech. Management is extremely trusting if you are able to get the job done right and there is no micro managing . The owners/partners are extremely generous and close to the team. We would have team lunches every month and often times go out for drinks if there was a special occasion. We also would have team building events every few months where as a team we would go out to do activities such as escape room, batl axe, skyline luge and many more. Our team was a very close bunch and i still have strong relationships with my former coworkers. Previous reviews on this site are very misleading as the company has grown a lot since then and have learned from their mistakes.

With Intelica being an IT consulting company there are times where you would have to work after hours and put in weekend work. However with that being said you do get out what you put in. Company would buy you dinner if you work a late night or weekend or sometimes the owners would buy the team lunch as a thanks for all the hard work. This is not a company that I would recommend working for if you enjoy spending most of your work hours browsing the internet, it is more of a company for individuals who want to challenge themselves everyday and learn new things and be exposed to new technologies and continue to grow.

Freedom, you travel from client site to other sites on a regular basis. This is extremely advantageous because you can avoid management's controlling and micro-managing tendencies. Clients are fantastic to deal with but suffer from lack of management skills from the IT leadership.

Management likes to belittle employees in front of other staff members and clients. Management also bullies due to severe insecurity issues. Please do not pursue an IT career as the stress is not healthy. Management also does not take suggestions or new ideas.
