Pros

This is a great company to work for. The small family feels, yielding significant company results. The nature of MSPs is going to be chaotic. However, this is structured chaos where you can grow and have a fun time while doing so. - Very knowledgable owner | Will be the first to assist anyone in trouble - Strong company culture | Lots of laughs, lots of collaboration as needed - Resourceful management | Management assists and helps drive your success - Collaboration | From every level, there is always someone to help or talk with - Mentorship | The first company I've experienced that values mentorship. Everyone is assigned a mentor who can talk about anything from internal/external issues, to role/tech advancement or life. - STRONG Help Desk | The backbone of any MSP. We have a very knowledgeable and responsive help desk with plenty of resources. - Bi-Weekly virtual happy hours | Get paid to sit for an hour and have a drink if you'd like and talk about whatever! - Bi-Weekly company outing | Head on to an event or happy hour that tends to run long. So buckle up! Great company cohesion

Cons

- Can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. However, that's the nature of solving problems in an MSP - Lots of driving. Which you get compensated for.

Pros

I worked here for 2 years and learned a ton. The folks here are big on internal mentorship and the senior engineers have huge amount of technical knowledge. This is also the one place I have worked that had zero workplace drama. Leadership is great and the team is fun. I have nothing bad to say, I really enjoyed my time here and it was a vital step in propelling my career forward.

Cons

Lots of driving, but thats in the nature of the field tech job. (Not every position requires travel)

Pros

- Learning opportunities; wide variety of customers as with most MSPs - Management actually has some technical experience

Cons

- "Fast paced" = overworked - Mediocre wages based on current market - Getting management to use their technical experience in rare cases it's needed is like pulling teeth - Weekend travel and participation for "social events." internal pressure for not attending - CrewHu is demeaning. feels collecting chuck e cheese tickets for "prizes." Not all staff has actual financial incentives available. - CrewHu is arbitrarily based on customer survey system rather than performance - Business sells "security" solutions without proper security controls defined, implemented, or even practiced internally - Company buys lunch once a week but holds meetings during the lunch "breaks." On these days you can't take an actual lunch break as required by law. A meeting is not a break.

Thank you for your feedback. We value every employee at our company and take feedback seriously. We use salary surveys from various sources, such as our human resources consultant, to gather data on salary ranges for all our staff roles. We are typically at the high end or over on our pay scales for our employees compared to MSP market rates. In addition, we add benefits every year. In 2024 we added floating and birthday holidays and increased our health insurance contributions. While we struggle to compete with the Federal government or other large corporations, we know we pay at the high end of MSPs. Our technical leadership team has extensive technical and professional experience. I’m not sure why you felt it challenging to get assistance when we have an open-door policy, and every employee can ask anyone for help. Others on our staff openly praise each other for their willingness to help. Our CrewHu reviews are filled with thank-yous and praises from employees. I'm sorry you feel pressured to attend social events. We've never required anyone to attend anything we do outside of the office. We encourage team members to join but don't penalize or demoralize anyone who doesn't. We implemented CrewHu a few years ago to reward employees from customers and other staff members. This is the first time we've heard anyone say it was demeaning. I'm sorry you feel this way. I'm afraid I must disagree with the comment on security solutions, as would our security team. We use all the same tools we sell to our clients for internal security. Maintaining optimal security is a continuous battle, but I feel strongly that we do an excellent job of protecting ourselves and our clients. We require our staff to attend a weekly lunch and learn, where we review technical challenges and provide training on new tools. We provide lunch during this training as a perk for attending. You are welcome to take a lunch break outside of this meeting before or after. Our HR manual explicitly states that employees are to take a lunch break daily. As a current employee, please don't hesitate to bring your concerns to the company owner. Thank you again for your feedback.
