Pros

Great pay and health benefits. This job inspired me to never go into medicine.

Cons

There is no cap on how many times you can be mandated to stay for overtime, they’re constantly short so you’re consistently working 16 hour shifts and they don’t care about your personal life. Turnover rate is pretty high. No incentives to encourage coverages. Difficult to get PTO approved because management favors certain people. Trainings are inadequate. The union is incompetent and delegates appear to be delegates to benefit themselves rather than union members.
