Pros
It's a fast growing company in a quickly evolving industry. In particular, if you're involved in the setup or programming of the platforms that Regent5 works with (Savant, Lutron, Control4, etc) there is a never-ending stream of new things to learn and adapt to. The employees are all great people, management cares about the workers, and the compensation is fair. Overtime happens, but isn't pervasive, so work/life balance is easily maintained. The company is large enough to feel stable (close to 30 people), but small enough that individual effort can yield noticeable results. In the last two years, I've seen the company improve quite a bit in terms of overall organization and work culture.
Cons
That same rate of change I listed as a pro is a negative for some people. Individual days can sometimes be chaotic; projects can evolve and change as clients make adjustments or obstacles arise, which can shift employee schedules around. If you need routine or are stressed easily, this may not be the job for you. The fast growth of the company outpaced its organizational abilities for a while, and there are still remnants of this, but I've seen much of that improved as new hires join the team and fill needed roles.
