Pros
Atleast I got paid for my hardwork
Cons
Toxic work environment, excessive office write-ups over minor issues, poor morale, inconsistent treatment between employees, and management practices that felt targeted and unprofessional. Employee concerns were not taken seriously, and advancement/licensing growth did not match what was originally promised.
My experience with management was extremely disappointing. From early on, I felt singled out and repeatedly pulled into the office over minor issues that could have easily been addressed professionally in the field. Over time, the environment became increasingly hostile and uncomfortable.
There was constant micromanagement, gossip, talking behind employees’ backs, and a clear lack of consistent standards between workers. I personally experienced comments and treatment that I felt were disrespectful and inappropriate, including being questioned in meetings about whether I had a learning disability, despite never giving any reason for that to be brought up. Situations like that made the workplace feel humiliating rather than supportive.
I also felt racially profiled and targeted throughout my time there. After leaving, multiple technicians contacted me and stated that management had allegedly been waiting for me to make a mistake so there would be a reason to terminate me. Hearing that only reinforced the concerns I already had while employed there.
Promises regarding growth, development, and licensing advancement did not match the reality of my experience. Instead of helping employees improve and succeed, management often created unnecessary pressure and tension. Morale in the workplace was poor, and the culture felt more focused on criticism and control than leadership or mentorship.
