Pros
Good Location, Good Food Options Nearby for Lunch, Close to the Beach.. Every pro is about everything outside of the office and nothing relating to the job.
Cons
When applying for the company, I was told I would be contacting an existing contact list to arrange appointments with the financial advisor team. For those who haven't had much outbound call centre experience, that means you are cold calling a list other call centres have cold called previously. Majority of people you contacted would mention that they didn't want this at all and didn't know what they were agreeing to.
When you got momentum, you wouldn't let the person on the other end of the line speak and just transfer them through before they could say no (which was encouraged by management). This would then be transferred to sales (not financial advisors) who would then transfer to the financial advisor team. The whole operation felt incredibly scammy and you never left the office feeling like you had done some good, even if you had hit your targets for the day.
I've never not recommended someone to work for a company once I've left, my bad experience may not be what others experience and it's not my place to say anything. This job is the exception. I truly don't understand how they are still operating but truly hope people see the light of working there and stop scamming innocent Australians out of their super.
Got let go as a group before probation even though I met all my targets. However those that were dating the managers were kept on. Fancy that
