Pros

Nice coworkers Discount on food/ free snack tray Free drink per shift Few workdays Decent pay though for the amount of work they should offer at least 16 (start for me was 13.50) with good tips (as FOH you make around 100 dollars extra a week in tips on average) I had a horrible time because I did not fit the mold of what they wanted. Some people really loved working there when I was there though.

Cons

Management definitely needs work. They were extremely unprofessional. I was fired out of the blue without any sort of prior reprimanding via email at 10pm. The email alleged things about my personhood that made no sense. Management can be unnecessarily mean and often bragged about previous fights with former employees / complained about former employees often times calling them swears. Everyone's hours were cut without notice and then when I asked for make up hours because I was promised a certain amount of hours when I joined my boss accused me of being malicious and a poor worker and undeserving of them without any sort of reasoning. I was berated for simple mistakes due to a lack of formal training and often scapegoated when other workers made similar ones. My employer quit training me for my position without telling me why and would brush me off when I would ask about it. Days are very long Not very accommodating to neurodivergent people If you are not prepared for a high stress work environment that is always busy i do not recommend working here. Not really a con but you will be expected to work in the back of house as a FOH person and help with things you maybe did not sign up for because it's a low staffed and highly trafficked store. Social Justice is a main tenant of their image; however, I did not feel that management reflected that within the business itself. FOH where consistently white young straight sized people and back of house often were people of color of of different body sizes. Further, we were not paid a living wage. Customers make a lot of references to your size, appearance, weight, etc.. so if you struggle with body image I do not recommend. Overall working there was a nightmare for me.

Pros

Free products on Sunday's. Employee discount on limited items at limited times. Flexible scheduling. At the time I was hired Leadership was developing a strategy for delegating work efficiently and fairly. They were also trying to improve employee retention by creating a training program that guages employee effectiveness. There were many things that I was told they were trying to improve.

Cons

Weekly total of hours were inconsistent. You will be asked to work off of the clock. There was constant micromanagement. Leadership was not on the same page and were also disinterested in their own roles. Strategies to delegate work and train employees were not adhered to. Leadership would consistently and openly disagree with one another and openly ridicule present and past employees. A common expression among employees was that they feared being fired even after years of employment. Communication was passive-aggressive at best and hostile at the worst. The way people communicated was aggressive: raised voices, profanity and regular interpersonal conflict. Unsanitary and disorganized kitchen. Alleged social justice initiatives were not fulfilled. If you are self-diagnosed you will not be considered valid and accommodations will be difficult to acquire here. Not an inclusive or democratic environment.
