Pros

The people that work there are nice, also the office is in a great area with good access to restaurants and Penn Station. Also, the day ends at 5pm sharp - which is very rare for agencies.

Cons

The Halo Group appears to be a small agency with a lot of creativity and talent. In reality, they are very unorganized, highly political and a revolving door of truly talented people. This all stems from the misdirection of the CEO, Linda Passante. Everything at this small agency must go through and be approved by Linda. This creates a lot of communication problems and a lot of back and forth. To make it worse, Linda lacks basic communication skills - such as email writing. Many employees are left confused by her emails, but too afraid to ask. Lastly, it is an ongoing joke at The Halo Group that the agency is a revolving door. This is not a good thing. People are constantly being fired or they are quitting. It is a difficult place to grow and learn in your career, so leaving The Halo Group is always a good thing.

The Halo Group Response
12y
Halo has already grown significantly in the past few years and no doubt will continue to do so. There are many here who are contributors to our growth and anyone who works smart has all the latitude they need to do their job. The CEO of any successful company has to be hands on. So, yes I am guilty of working very hard but if I find myself having to micromanage someone, its for only one reason. They're not doing their job. ReallygoodCEO
