Pros
Pros: Clean newer model trucks. They will pay to get you to orientation and cover about $50 in meals and $75.00day for orientation. They are flexible about home time. Not a mega carrier so dispatch is fairly easy to get ahold of.
Cons
65mph trucks. They advertise 45cpm but ( you get paid a base of 34cpm and the rest is earned on a two level performance scale that adds up to 45cpm. You will not know this unless you read their employee handbook. Andy theirbRecruiter will not tell you this) the performance is not difficult. Micro manage X5!! You are told when and where to fuel (Loves) and what lanes to run. They do not like for the drivers to call shippers and receivers. (One reason why I quit after the first week) Long wait times (scheduled loading times with Nestle) for getting your loads. Pay is Once a month with an option for $500wk advance.(First Friday of every month is when you get paid your total balance minus your $500wk draw) Now if and when you decide the company is not the right fit for you and want to quit!!?? They will get you back to the yard and leave you stranded out in the middle of nowhere and not offer any help at all with getting out of there. They will flat out not even acknowledge you are there. Cost me $100 for taxi from another country, $250 airfare, $150 hotel and the cost of leaving personal belongings behind because I couldn't bring with me. (Microwave, tools, cleaning supplies, hangers ECT.) So drivers please read the fine print and do your homework before committing.
