Pros

Great exposure to different government systems. You get to understand how Centrelink works. You get to utilize your abilities/ talents very well. You work with a team of people from various cultures and backgrounds.

Cons

Too much micromanagement that sometimes I felt affected our performance.

Pros

I worked with a great team, a great manager and was given plenty of opportunity to advance.

Cons

At times things were somewhat disorganized. Upper managment would also make decisions for the front line staff in regards to servicing that didnt make any sense but would require that we try and fail before listening to criticism.

Pros

I enjoy working as a Job Coach because I am able to support people to build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve their employment goals. I find the role rewarding as every day is different, and I enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives while building strong relationships with participants

Cons

One challenging aspect of working as a Job Coach is supporting people who are experiencing complex personal barriers while also managing administrative requirements. The role can be emotionally demanding at times; however, it is still rewarding to help participants work toward positive outcomes and employment goals.
