I truly enjoy working at Weights and Biases, and here is why: - The people I work with are not only driven and talented, but they are also very kind, honest, and caring people. The company is growing fast, but these qualities remain essential when searching for new hires. As an anecdote, when I first joined, I asked people their favorite thing about working there. Most of them answered, "the people." - They have ample financial support to set up a WFH environment and purchasing learning materials. - They are transparent about how the company is performing and growing. The CEO holds informative and interactive sessions every quarter to keep us updated with the business' direction. - Our People Ops team holds many fun opportunities to get to know coworkers in a remote environment — icebreakers, escape rooms, happy hours, donuts chat, etc. - There are talented female leaders here. Some examples include our female head of product, head of growth, and DL engineer. - The MLOps product is impactful, and the market we operate in is very exciting!
Cons
- Most companies in this industry match an employee's 401(k) contributions. We, unfortunately, do not. - Our engineering team could have more diversity but we are aware of this and working on it.
