Pros
- Awesome team. Yeah yeah, I know people say this all the time, but we're part of an incubator and surrounded by other companies. Even they say it seems like we're always having fun.
- Responsibility. Since it is currently still such a small team (6 people), everything you do makes an impact. You get lots of varying responsibilities from the start.
- Freedom. When you start, you get projects assigned to you (of course). But you always have a say in the matter and need to think smart about how to handle your given tasks. Furthermore you can always suggest new projects and execute them.
Cons
- Strategic focus. Even though nevaly is a startup, I feel there's a lack of focus in strategic decisions as many cool projects are being undertaken at the same time.
- Guidance. If you're looking for somebody to hold your hand, look somewhere else. You got a lot of feedback, inspiration and tools, but the rest is up to you.
- Sales Salaries. Since nevaly is a startup backed by investors, it is very profit driven, meaning there's a strong sales mentality and variable salaries. In general, salaries aren't high.
