Pros

* Strong hands-on experience that’s helped me grow quickly * Healthy work-life balance that makes the job sustainable * Constant push to improve skills and expand capabilities * Deep exposure to and understanding of the cannabis industry * Broader knowledge of the marketing industry as a whole * Valuable account management experience working with clients * Opportunities to build and refine sales skills * Supportive, knowledgeable leadership and great bosses * Laid-back culture that still prioritizes productivity and results

Cons

Fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on deliverables, which works well for someone who enjoys managing a high-volume workload and staying organized under pressure * Requires a good level of self-direction and problem-solving, which is a great fit for someone who likes taking initiative and figuring things out independently * As a growing company, some processes are still evolving, which creates flexibility and opportunities to help shape and improve how things are done rather than working in a rigid structure

Pros

The primary strength of the agency is its personnel. Working alongside highly capable, talented, and well-equipped teams provides a strong peer culture and an optimal environment for collaboration.

Cons

Severe Leadership Disconnect: There is a fundamental gap between executive leadership and agency operations. The executive leadership lacks a proven track record of sustainable growth in the marketing industry, which significantly impacts the company's strategic direction and commercial roadmap. Deficiencies in Team Management and Autonomy: Executive leadership demonstrates a lack of standard team management skills, a deficit that is highly visible to staff. To compensate, management employs a micro-management approach characterized by a constant stream of ad-hoc meetings. These calls frequently lack formal agendas and focus entirely on immediate, unstructured thoughts rather than organized objectives. Operational Inefficiency and Over-Meeting: These unstructured meetings consume valuable operational time and frequently extend late into Friday afternoons. This practice drains high-level output, disrupts cognitive focus, and prevents the team from engaging in deep work. Consequently, a clear misalignment exists between stated corporate values regarding work-life balance and actual operational expectations. Deficits in Organizational Culture: The current environment does not support transparent, constructive feedback. When leadership avoids accountability, it undermines organizational integrity. Long-term corporate health requires a commitment to professional transparency and improvement from the executive level down.
