      Pros

      16 hours each of Community service & professional development hours. Engaging work, some great co-workers and leaders.

      Cons

      Push for return to office full time, lack of prioritization on projects- everything is a top priority. Some teams getting burned out from long support hours.

      Pros

      Great people, nice offices, remote/hybrid workplace.

      Cons

      There have been at least three rounds of layoffs (that I'm aware of) within the last two years. The credit union is discarding people with vast knowledge, skills, and experience both in their roles/industry and specifically at First Tech. I have seen careers on an upward trajectory abruptly cut short, with people promoted only to have their new jobs eliminated with no apparent warning. I find this precarity disturbing and am beginning to feel disillusioned with First Tech as a place to grow a career.
