I love how we get to help people with disabilities live their lives to the fullest. We teach them how to be as independent as possible when it comes to living in the home and working in the community. We take them to places of interest. Most individuals get to go on vacations. This is a great company to work for; it's very rewarding. I love to see the individuals happy and thriving, and this company advocates for individuals with disabilities in every aspect and it shows.
Cons
I do feel like we deserve more pay. I don't think it's fair that the starting rate is the same as what people who have been dedicated to this company for years make.
Leadership say they care about workers and show it. However, some mangers and directors need better training to work with the staff which report to them.
