I found my experience at GSA Insurance Brokers disappointing. While I had many positive interactions with clients and gained valuable experience, I felt the workplace became increasingly difficult after organisational changes and the merger.
My main concern was the management approach. I felt there was a strong focus on criticism rather than support regarding time management despite a high workload and ongoing system changes. I often felt that my efforts weren’t recognised and that small mistakes received disproportionate attention which created a stressful working environment.
For anyone considering working here I would recommend them to ask about workload expectations, training, performance management processes and the level of support provided to employees.
