It depends on where you work, but as far as I know they are flexible with the hours as you are also a student and have exam phases

Cons

Sometimes there are events you cannot miss and that can sometimes interfere with the timing of your exams

Pros

The work environment is honestly very nice. It is really easy to find chemicals and also get equipments. This means that the opportunities to publish and collaborate are enormous

Cons

The main con is the HR. They take such a long time for processing. This is generally a problem with most big German institutions. However, the PAs of the head of institutes generally help with lowering the administrative botttleneck
