Pros
You’re able to trail blaze your own role.
New ideas are welcomed, mistakes are treated as learning experiences.
We don’t spend our days bogged down in meetings or emails – everything is communicated via Slack and other collaborative means, meaning you get things done quickly, without being bogged down in red tape.
People are accountable and genuinely willing to help each other out rather than being in silos.
The flexibility is excellent – having recently joined after having a child I’ve been able to work around daycare arrangements which is so appreciated.
Being remote-based suits me perfectly – it doesn’t feel lonely, I am able to get an enormous amount of work done whilst avoiding a 3 hour daily commute, which means my work-life balance is better.
The culture is fantastic. People are just as willing to have a laugh as they are to get in and get stuff done.
You’re treated like an adult, not like a bum on a seat, and that trust goes both ways.
The founders are genuine people who care about their team.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any.
