Similar to all client service firms, there are times where additional time is required. Depending on the team you work on and/or the client(s) you work on, there could be some times throughout the year that require more hours to accomplish the client's objective.
Based on reading some of the reviews, I think there are some clear issues with communication between managers and the team; where expectations, career path, etc. are not constantly discussed.
If you aren't realistic with yourself and your career trajectory, then you will find something wrong with every professional organization you work at.
