You get lots of clients quickly, real-world experience, and experience with some behind the scenes on how to run a practice. Great supervision provided. Options for both in-person and virtual therapy.
Cons
You get a lot of clients quickly...not a lot of ramp up time just thrown in. Pay wasn't great but I don't know of an employer that pays any AMFT very well.
