Pros

- Everyone on the team is united by the mission. I think this is really powerful and makes it easy (in a sense) to make decisions about the company and the product - we genuinely want what is best for our users. - Thing here move quickly and change regularly! This is something I find exciting but others might find stressful. - Having working arrangement flexibility is really nice - people work from home / remotely regularly and no one is weird about it. - It's a fun place to work! The team gets along well and everyone is really talented and motivated.

Cons

For me there aren't any, but as with any growing start-up you need to be able to handle the fact that it's a fast-paced working environment and things might be a bit stressful.

Pros

The company has grown leaps and bounds since I first started here. I'll break down my experience in a few buckets for ease: Environment: OurPath is a place where you will grow. It is a place in which you are valued and encouraged. This comes top-down, left-right, front and center from the attitudes of the founders. Both are intellectually curious, work incredibly hard and passionately, and have strong visions of how we can impact the people that use our service/products. Perhaps with this, I could probably see how others might shy from this type of leadership - but they are constantly engaging with everyone in the org to understand how we make this the best place to work and actually make a difference in this world. As far as founders go, they are role models for diligence and understanding. Apart from the founders, the rest of the team is very much the same - we're all motivated and driven. More importantly, we enjoy each other's company and listen to each other. If you aren't any of the above things, or are unwilling to collaborate, then this probably isn't the place for you. You'll learn a lot working with the team. On a less, serious note - we all have a boat load of fun and enjoy good chat lol. Lifestyle: I've never felt like I can't talk to my line manager or my team about something that's had an impact on my personally and in the workplace. I think that comes from the type of lifestyle that's been bred here. It's open, honest, and there's no politics - sure, like every startup there's times where we need to make decisions - but that's the nature of businesses in general. On the whole - I look forward to coming into the office on Monday - ask yourself if you've said that about any other role you've had - and if so, great - if not - I'd be happy to chat about how we can change that. Mobility: The founders and the company are young, there's not a huge system of 'mobility' in the official sense like being promoted to associate to senior to principal or whatever. Come here, learn and contribute - that's it. I think the progression piece is important for some roles, which teams are building - but for others - it lends itself to really allowing you to chart your own path and help build this thing to where it can go and help as many people as possible. 'Work': Yeah - it's hard. This is a tough problem that we're trying to solve with software/people - we aren't kidding anyone. What makes it all worthwhile is being in a space where there are truly passionate, clever, and really resilient people that want to actually do something about what we're trying to do. If you're looking to push papers, be a cog in a wheel somewhere, and do something easy - again probably not the place for you. I think the only real 'stress' I've had is more about "If we don't solve this problem [helping people live healthier to curb these/this lifestyle disease epidemic], who will?". We care about this 'thing'.

Cons

It's 'hard' work - but anything worthwhile is, isn't it?

Pros

Product - changes people's lives, we saw this first hand. Founders - live their values, are led by data and appreciate honesty and feedback. Team - great culture and wonderful team spirit. Mission - authentic and focussed on changing lives, no politics, no admin just trying to do the right thing.

Cons

none - it's an incredible place to work!
