Great pay, they are willing to train, they give their employees the opportunity to apply for positions before opening the position to the public, 5 day work week, set schedules, managers and supervisors are very hands on
Cons
The only person that can truly stand in your way is yourself
I am a veteran in the collections industry. To me, RGS has the best balance of culture, morale and compensation that I have been around. Higher management actually puts forth initiatives to create employee engagement/appreciation that don’t feel forced. The agent stigma of “going thru the motions until something better comes along” is far less common compared to past places I’ve been. Upper management will provide advancement opportunities, assuming the candidates adhere to rules/schedules and show initiative to advance.
Mike and Kathy Ryalls are respectable owners who regularly engage with their employees. If culture and leadership are important to you, they are genuine people who don’t create an atmosphere of unnecessary stress. Payment advances are also available.
Cons
Building and hallway layout felt confusing during my first few weeks. Benefits are average, about what you would expect.
