Pros
In my five years at Robin, I have seen a lot of changes. Yes, there have been ups and downs, good quarters, not so good quarters, happy customers, not so happy customers, interesting work, not so interesting work, the best of times, the worst of times.
As we begin 2022, this year marks the third year of the pandemic. How is it that in the midst of the great reshuffle, our team has not lost a single engineer?
To quote one of my favorites, Tom Mendoza, "Adversity reveals character." And, it is during these past few years that our employers have revealed theirs. So, while most of you have chosen to leave, all of us have stayed on.
To summarize pros:
o Good people and a good environment where you can focus on the work
o Creative freedom and autonomy
o Access to all engineers and management up and down the chain
Cons
Typical of most smaller private companies, the benefits could be better.
