Pros

Flexible approach to doing business with clients, not chasing the money with pressure from management to do any deals, they have to be the right deals Excellent use of Salesforce dashboards Solid culture and a genuine approach to doing business the right way which permeates from the top down You work hard and are committed there is a culture to commit back 100% from the business, you can create your own career path you just have to grab it with both hands and not lets small growing pains (which happen in any fast paced business) hold you back

Cons

Like any fast paced business that has grown fast there is process lacking in parts, but not more than any other tech co. i have worked for

Pros

I genuinely love SaleCycle. I've been at the company for just under two years now and I can't really fault it in terms of environment and vision. After reading a few of the negative reviews below I thought it might be a good time to give an opinion. Firstly, not everyone succeeds in every role that they do. Yes, the sales team face pressure to perform (to some extent) and targets are set in place to drive us forward. However, isn't that symbolic of every sales environment that we work in?! What I would say is that SaleCycle provides a positive, nurturing environment, where knowledge is shared (if people want it) and people genuinely want the company to move forward and sustain it's position as a market leader. If those that have left with a less than favourable opinion about the place, then surely this is something that they can learn from as turn into a positive. Everyone has failed at something. Technology sales isn't for everyone!! Induction and Training: To be honest, I can see why some people may have an issue with this. The formal induction process has been slightly spurious and may not have been implemented to script. This I believe is down to the sales team undergoing an evolution as of late and not due to any specific individual or group of individuals. However, this is not to say that the training is non-existent. Once again, I'm a firm believer that if you want to learn and drive yourself forward, then you can take the time out of your day to speak to your peers and acquire the knowledge neccessary to succeed. If on the other hand being spoon fed is what you prefer, then SaleCycle mightn't be for you. Career Progression: SaleCycle genuinely offers employees the opportunity to progress your career. Within the North East and the UK more broadly many people accept their lot and often don't take those steps to improve their overall position within the company. Alternatively, they can often uphold the belief that they are entitled to a promotion even if they may not have demonstrated the neccessary skills or knowledge to merit one. I think everyone within their respective careers have seen some of the more sinister ways that people progress their careers. SaleCycle doesn't ascribe to this "norm," but instead rewards merit and attitude. Since I have joined SaleCycle a number of top performers, and those that have demonstrated a specific skill set, have been given a promotion and the opportunity to move across the business. The majority of the time, I believe they get this right.

Cons

The SaleCycle promise is a big one. When you walk in the door you genuinely feel like this is a great place to work. However, the promise may often overshoot some people expectations versus what they experience in reality.
