You have to dedicate a lot of time to the position. It is constantly mentioned that there is a good work life balance, but there isn’t. Working 10-12 hours a day (counting driving) showing up to an unpaid morning meeting and then standing in a BJs selling AT&T (gas isn’t paid for).
In these morning meetings they repeat the same things every week, it feels like you’re in a cult sometimes. In these meetings they share something motivational or educational, but they’re just selling the business to keep people working for them. They share how much a director can make, but I have made a recent discovery that they don’t make that much at all.
They also make you feel awful when you’re not early or the last person to leave. Job takes a lot away from your time. If you’re fine with that and get good at sales and training, by all means this is for you.
Main thing for me was that a lot of things were promised that I did not receive. Left as soon as I was told these lies.
To sum it all up, it’s not a good company to work for, but if you don’t have experience and don’t have a lot on your resume to get you into a good company, this could help a little. And if you don’t mind dedicating your life to this go ahead. At the end of the day a job is a job.
