Pros
The South Shore office for Gatehouse Media is in Marshfield.. The Publisher who oversees that office,, Mark Olivieri, is a former Sales Rep himself so understands all the challenges that entails.
Cons
Gatehouse Media New England has had massive lay-offs, making production and reporting extremely difficult. They own the Patriot Ledger as well as many weekly publications. Operations have become very cumbersome, disjointed.

good benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and excellent time off
Cons
reps who have been there for years never get salary increase and are making less than new employees coming in. Commission opportunity is the same for most, but management will exaggerate average income potential. Management is disorganized and there is WAY too much customer service for a sales rep position. Much of the day spent handling problems
