      Pros

      Good salary. Largely good co-workers.

      Cons

OK until it isn't. Three rounds of layoffs have taken their toll. Management really doesn't know what to do next. Suffers badly from initiative-itis but the 'next big thing' for the last 9 months has been vaporware. Hollowing out from the inside. The worst turnover I've ever seen. Most of the people who knew how things work have left & no-one dares or cares to change the monolithic code base.

Thank you for your feedback. It's clear you had a mixed experience at Aiven, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. It's good to hear that you found the salary competitive and enjoyed working with your colleagues. We value building a strong team and are glad that was a positive aspect of your time here. It's concerning to hear about the impact of the layoffs and your feeling that management lacked direction. We understand that periods of change can be unsettling, and there is work happening to stabilise and strengthen our strategies. We are committed to finding the right path forward and ensuring Aiven's long-term success. Ed Director, Talent & People Experience
