What are pay raises like at CVS Health?

      CVS Health reviews

      It’s ok

      Customer service representative
      Former employee
      Florida City, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

WFH, flexible schedule, my supervisor was not a micromanager.

      Cons

Higher ups set unattainable goals, no increase in pay, insurance company that charges you a fee to have spouse on insurance, bonuses fluctuating based on their budget and not your performance, company preaches they are all about the member and their experience on the surface level but threaten with unemployment if you don’t go faster, basic corporate mentality.

      A great start for pharmacy

      Customer service representative
      Current employee
      Orlando, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Work life balance, opportunity to move up, and as long as you do your job your supervisor will leave you alone.

      Cons

Pay sucks, when you become a lead there’s more work but no additional pay, pay increase only once a year and max raise isn’t a dollar, takes 2 years to become a PSR II, the3 bonuses they give a year is nearly impossible to get and not much opportunity for overtime.

A few Pros and Cons of Working at CVS Retail

      Retail store associate
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Schedules can be flexible with students who are in school, team is reasonable and can be easy to work with, not a bad company to work in

      Cons

understaffed most of the time, pay minimum wage and the yearly raises are not much and not much opportunity to grow

      Good while it lasted

      Manager finance
      Former employee
      Scottsdale, AZ
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Team was great, pay below market, flexibility was great, I worked from all over the US and had pretty flexible hours for the most part.

      Cons

Pay was pretty low compared to my peers in other companies, they would not increase pay because "Others who have been here for 10 years are being paid the same".

No pay raise for a year even though you are moved to departments with more work.

      Pharmacy service representative
      Former employee
      Redlands, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Benefits PTO equals about 4 hours per week for full time workers.

      Cons

No pay raise for a year even though you are moved to departments with more work. No input on what higher demand departments you are sent to, but when applied for other departments no response, no response is provided.

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Works well with the schedule, the manager and staff pharmacists are exceptional.

      Cons

Very short-staffed most of the time, annual pay increases are not very much, and the company does not allow for much growth.

      Management at CVS

      Operations manager
      Former employee
      North Atlanta, GA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      Flexible hours, good health benefits

      Cons

Cvs shorts the stores of hours. Doesn't hire enough clerks. Little recognition vs demands. Expected to sell rewards programs. Little opportunity to increase salary and once a year raise opportunity is minuscule along with position caps on salary regardless of seniority.

      Accounting

      Accounting analyst
      Current employee
      Amherst, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great manager, great team, easy work, decent amount of PTO

      Cons

Pay isn't great, not much room for advancing, no bonuses, very small raises
