      Pros

The people at Cludo are amazing and super talented. I always felt welcomed, cared about, and heard. The pay was decent and it was always an open conversation to discuss it, even if a raise wasn't given. There was a healthy amount of investing in the people there, especially related to benefits offered. Transparency around most things was extremely high, with leadership always being open to questions, even those that might be hard to answer.

      Cons

There is a noticeable shift towards a mindset that I think may do more harm than good, which is profit at all costs. I believe this comes from the top, where a return on investment is expected soon, and trickles down. Based on my experience and hearing from others, this is causing higher levels of stress, anxiety, and lack of security. The company has moved from a growth mindset to a cost cutting mindset, and I don't see that being a long-term solution. Either need an influx of cash flow, or a change of strategy. Sometimes, to make money you need to spend it first. Also, the cowardice in how terminations are being handled is dragging things down immensely. Very abrupt announcements, with little information shared, especially to the person actually leaving, is breaking trust. People are on edge and I foresee this continuing, which is unfortunate.

We appreciate you sharing your perspectives. Each employee situation is unique of course, and as a fast-growing business - financially and in terms of developing our team - we sometimes need to make tough choices. As we continue hiring and growing, we’ll continue to apply what we learn to make this a great place to grow, learn, and work together.
