What is the hiring process like at DNV?

      DNV reviews

Financially solid company; but convoluted processes

      Pros

Company is financially solid; good peers; very educated and intelligent people to work with. Good benefits.

      Cons

Processes are often outdated; IT systems are outdated; no clear guidance on any process; vague language used in policy; hard to get your feet underneath you when you are starting here. It takes about a year to get a decent feel for it.

      Excellent working environment

      Pros

To start with, I had a good experience throughout the interview and onboarding process. The recruiter was quick to respond to all my doubts. I also got regular updates regarding the recruitment process and steps I need to follow. The manager was warm and welcoming on my first day. There are many interesting projects that DNV works for. Supportive, approachable and warm colleagues. I find the people in my team to be supportive and collaborative with each other. I get to decide and work on my personal development plan, goals for the year. There are opportunities like trainings, internal and external learning sessions to achieve the set goals. The process is made clear for any new joiners and the progress is measured regularly. Another big advantage is flexible working hours. I can work from home/ remote and manage the project work. Bonus: We also have connect events where colleagues can meet and socialize for events like potluck dinners, game nights, movie nights, summer trips, etc.

      Cons

None really. I beleive you need to bring your A-game when starting with DNV.
