Business outlook
Pros
• Decent benefits • A few kind coworkers • Exposure to large-scale operations
Cons
• Massively unbalanced workloads – I personally managed over 700 suppliers, while others (even the ones constantly praised by management) had as few as 270. • Favoritism is rampant – advancement is based on who you know or how well you play the game, not how hard you work. • Zero career growth – I applied for internal roles multiple times and was told by a hiring manager that I was “too valuable” in my current position and they’d rather hire externally than promote me internally. • No recognition or appropriate compensation for being overloaded. • Toxic work culture that rewards silence and punishes ambition.
