Pros
Team members are generally supportive on a day-to-day level, and you’ll pick up some basic ecommerce and client-handling experience
Cons
I worked at ECOM Capital and had a pretty disappointing experience overall.
The biggest issue for me was the business model. It often felt like the company operated in a grey area when it comes to selling services to clients. Some clients didn’t seem to fully understand how ecommerce works, yet were still encouraged to invest significant amounts of money. That didn’t sit right with me and raised ethical concerns.
Internally, the culture didn’t help either. Daily morning meetings felt unnecessary and repetitive. There was a strong pressure to share “wins” or achievements every day, even when there wasn’t anything meaningful to report. It often led to people exaggerating or stretching minor updates just to have something to say, which made the whole process feel unproductive.
Overall, if you value transparency and a more grounded, results-driven environment, this may not be the best fit.
