What is the company culture like at Encord?

- Talented people who are great at what they do and nice to work with - Engineering team working closely with customers who are at the leading edge of AI - frontier labs, robotics, autonomous vehicles etc. - Fast commercial growth and equity in the company - Open and communicative culture

- Not really a con but things can move very quickly and priorities can change due to the fast pace of the industry which isn't for everyone

- very interesting product - supportive and motivating company culture - Clear expectations and benefits

Located very central so sometimes takes long to get into the office

Smart, hardworking people. Product is solving problems that are really on the cutting-edge of tech. Business is growing rapidly right now.

Culture of fear widespread because people get fired very quickly. Collaboration is low as a result because people act selfishly to survive. GTM team is especially uncollaborative and you have people who act like independent freelancers. I feel that the business may struggle to grow beyond where it is without better collaboration. If you like working collaboratively, this isn't the place for you. The TAM is also fairly small and the product does not cater to all AI businesses.
