Where do I even begin? Joining Engro was akin to signing up for mental trauma. Here are just a few reasons why:
1. No work-life balance: The concept of work-life balance is non-existent at Engro. Employees are expected to be on call 24/7, leading to burnout and dissatisfaction.
2. Toxic Management: The management culture at Engro is toxic, to say the least. Instead of supporting and empowering their employees, managers create a hostile work environment filled with micromanagement and fear.
3. No Structure or Process: Engro operates in a chaotic manner, lacking any semblance of structure or defined processes. This lack of organization leads to confusion and inefficiency.
4. Unrealistic Deadlines: Employees are constantly subjected to unrealistic deadlines, causing undue stress and pressure.
5. Intolerable Pressure: The pressure to perform at Engro is intolerable, with little to no support from management.
6. Total Anarchy in Decision Making: Decision-making at Engro is chaotic and often lacks logic or reason, leading to frustration among employees.
7. Micro-management: Engro is notorious for its micro-management practices, stifling creativity and autonomy among employees.
In summary, Engro does not stand for Enabling Growth but rather End-Growth. I strongly advise potential employees to steer clear of this toxic work environment for the sake of their mental and emotional well-being.
