      Pros

Easy interviewing process, they ask the generic questions

      Cons

At times the interview feels a bit disorganized as the managers are busy running around the store

      Pros

Variety of product is a lot of fun to work with.

      Cons

Unrealistic expectations are often put on the replenishment process. Showing strengthening signs of woke culture.

      underpaid and overworked

      Business outlook

      Pros

Nice coworkers Some tasks are easy

      Cons

Constantly short staffed, yet they dont schedule more people. But somehow always hiring and having interviews. Also can have you completing the job of 3 people and still are paid the same. You also have to sell their credit cards and have to meet a minimum per day or face getting scolded.

      Lack integrity and honesty

      Pros

My son first start, there are plenty of hours to work.

      Cons

They hired my son during the holidays and advertised for part time job, not temporary holiday work. When work started in November, they gave 36 hours, six day week for work. After New years, they reduced hours to 3 days, 12 hours per week. By February, they were only scheduling 1 day per week at 4 hours. This was for several employees. When questioned, they said they are doing the best they could, however they were contenuing to hire new employees. 4 hours per week benefits no one. My son told them he was putting a 2 week notice in. Management told him they would work on getting him more hours. Instead, they took him off the schedule and let him go without working the 2 weeks. It seems they only wanted holiday workers but did not want to advertise for holiday work, they just reduced the hours in hopes they would quite... the turnover rate there appears to be very high. Major integrity issues.

      Stressful company to work for

      Pros

Managers are paid pretty decent and there are more employee discount days than other companies I’ve worked for.

      Cons

Managers are forced to work long hours bc of the lack of talent required to run the business. If you can’t work extra, you will be branded as unreliable and subpar employee. Coordinators are paid peanuts and over worked. If you’re the BRC, (backroom coordinator)your life will be hell. Part-time employee pay was even worse and they were shamed for taking days off. Home Office/Upper management are more concerned with getting product in the building than the safety of the team. The company expectation is to finish a truck in 24 hours. The company doesn’t pay its part-time and coordinators enough, to get talent that can aid in assistance with streamlining freight. Instead, the company will settle with retirees on social security bc those are the only people available to accept $12 an hour. Those team members were constantly being pointed out as the problem for trucks being pushed/delayed. But the real problem is with the company refusing to pay employees a decent wage and overstocking stores to where it becomes unsafe for employees and customers as well. If OSHA were to walk into the stores, I can guarantee half would be shutdown due to safety and health violations.

They were nice but the pay was poor

      Pros

The 15 minute breaks and 45 minute lunches as well as weekly pay were very nice. The managers were kind

      Cons

I was making minimum wage but I was training the new staff and the new managers (external hires). My coworkers were making more than me even with less experience. I never got a pay increase for the increase of work. I never recieved benefits despite working full-time most weeks.
