I have been working here for 6 years and until they were forced to pay more for minimum wage I had been working for the lowest wage I could’ve gotten which at the time was $12 with pay raises being from a minimum of 1 cent to 10 cents maximum. You could work as hard as you want but at the at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because you get a 800-1200 piece truck every day with the pallets stacked like Jenga towers after the game is over or they are stacked too high. I have gotten hurt here and only two higher ups knew until two days later and told me that I was gonna have to use my sick days to cover a major concussion followed by the person at company’s health insurance telling me that “I shouldn’t have been hired and shouldn’t be able to work there anymore”. Nothing ever gets finished because of the crazy amounts of product that come in and usually we have to play Tetris every day to fit the pallets in to receive another 24-25 pallets on top of what we already have. Overall since the company has tried to chase high profits by increasing the amount of items that need to be processed and lowering the amount of actual processors it has become a miserable job and not worth the pain.

I was making minimum wage but I was training the new staff and the new managers (external hires). My coworkers were making more than me even with less experience. I never got a pay increase for the increase of work. I never recieved benefits despite working full-time most weeks.

Very Low Pay where you have to decide what bills to pay each week or what to eat. Not a lot of hours to even consider it a job. Not all coworkers were friendly. Some came to work to make your life miserable.

Management is very organized to make sure things done timely, especially when closing in the evenings. The schedule is made with consideration, they try to avoid a late night closing when you have to work the earliest 5 or 6 am shift the next day. Coworkers are friendly and work hard to do a good job. There is typically enough people working to keep up with tasks that are needed so things don't get out of control. Customers are generally very pleasant. The dress code allows you to wear clothing that makes sense for the job you're doing. You can wear practical shoes so your feet are supported and casual work-appropriate clothes that are durable for moving roughly-textured giant garden pots for example. There is a good amount of dust and glitter you will encounter, especially from holiday decor.

Low hourly pay and not a lot of hours available outside of holidays. Limited opportunities for full time positions. Lifting heavy items and pushing heavy things takes a toll on your body. They try to provide some safety equipment such as gloves and flatbeds, but it can put a strain on your body. Even lifting moderately heavy items like a box set of drinking glasses repeatedly over time can hurt.
