If you can meet metrics and show your worth (go above and beyond) management will (most of the time) reward you
Pros
Pay is okay to start. Health coverage and premium not bad. If you coordinate in advance, you can almost always get paid time off when requested (automated system determines approval). Can pay into 401k and HSA after training. Stock options offered on 2nd year of employment. Also, great cafeteria and break areas available on site, along with small walking path that helps you disconnect mentally for a bit.
Cons
- The AI that is supposed to help streamline work was always glitching and was down at least 3 months I worked there. This made calls go longer as we had to research specific information for customers. - Length of calls, hold time and all other metrics must be maintained or your position could be terminated. Policy changes were frequent and at least half the calls received were disputes or fraudulent concerns which could be fairly quick or emotional and lengthy. Can be draining. - Starting schedule cannot be negotiated. Must work full year to be considered for a more ideal timeframe (and if there are other times available). You must maintain a flawless record if you want to be approved for a change: make sure to volunteer for overtime, engage in all Team virtual meetings and basically be visible and helpful.
