Pros
Great place to grow if you're looking for challenge and real career development Working here has been a truly rewarding experience. Because the company is continuously evolving, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow professionally. This is a great place for someone who doesn’t want a simple, routine job, but instead wants to challenge themselves and build a meaningful career. What I especially appreciate is that your compensation grows as your results grow. Seeing your hard work directly reflected in your salary is extremely motivating and satisfying. The people here are also one of the biggest strengths of the company. My colleagues are kind, respectful, and genuinely good to work with, which creates a positive and supportive environment every day. Another major advantage is how the company embraces the AI era. While many other companies are cutting staff, but company encouraged to use a variety of AI tools to work smarter and develop ourselves. I’ve learned a lot and feel like I’m building future-proof skills. Overall, this is a great place for anyone who wants to grow, be challenged, and build a long-term career surrounded by great people.
Cons
Because the company is growing quickly, changes happen fast and priorities can shift. This environment may feel overwhelming for someone who prefers a very stable, repetitive routine. At times, the fast pace means you need to adapt quickly and take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions. Workload can increase during busy periods, so time management and self-motivation are important. Also, because there are many opportunities for growth, expectations can be high, which may not be a fit for people who want a more relaxed pace. Overall, these challenges come from the company’s rapid development, and they can actually be positive for someone who enjoys learning and taking ownership.
Pros
Offers comprehensive benefits package. 401K matching up to 5% Pay is higher than industry average. Job security is generally high due to the high cost of replacing talent.
Cons
IT, as a team, is underestimated and undermined constantly by other departments. Due to its current management, the IT department at Kiss is underdeveloped and choked by seniority rather than merit. Toxic company culture: - Management will often limit passionate, visionary talent for fear of being replaced or fear of being unable to "manage the employee" i.e. take credit for their work. The weird thing is that most employees see this as a natural progression of events. - The company chose innovations out of office politics rather than merit - Collaboration is used as a term for when one team forces another to do their bidding, often to perform labor intensive jobs or jobs the leading department doesn't feel like doing. There is an arbitrary hierarchy of departments and IT is at the very bottom of this hierarchy. Even several newer departments are considering themselves above IT due to being close with the CEO. - There is no desire for challenge. The company in general wants to use the same systems for several decades because they have not broken the mindset of a small business. Moreover, the Korean company culture that Kiss follows is critically opposed to challenge or disruption of existing norms. Opposing unpaid overtime, not drinking at a team dinner, or even being unable to speak Korean can result in a negative impact to your career prospects at the company. There are no direct rewards for undergoing such challenges. - Management often corners itself into a "failure is not an option" status. Lesser managers will often fail, take the blame, and leave the company thereafter, leaving the real problems not investigated and unresolved. The recognition of failure allows for problem analysis and better solutions, however, management has yet to understand this. There are far deeper problems, but they are confidential.

Growing systems and processes — Internal systems and policies still need to be developed further compared to the company’s rapid growth, which in turn creates significant opportunities for personal career development.
Pros
Having been with the company for an extended period, I've had the privilege of witnessing its evolution and growth firsthand. While there have been many changes over time aimed at improvement, the recent organizational restructuring and creation of new roles truly stand out as transformative. These changes signify the company's commitment to offering empowerment and advancement opportunities to its employees. It's refreshing to see how these efforts have created new opportunities for people to develop personally and professionally in the company. What impresses me the most is how these changes not only reflect the company's core values but also translate into tangible actions that provide opportunities for advancement. The emphasis on empowerment is evident in the way new roles have been created, allowing individuals to take on more responsibility and ownership in their respective areas. Being part of this transition has been an exciting journey, and I am proud to be a member of a team that prioritizes growth and development. I look forward to seeing how these changes continue to shape the future of the company and create even more opportunities for advancement.
Cons
While embracing greater ownership in the functional areas is beneficial, it undeniably brings added pressure and higher expectations. Balancing this intensity with sufficient support will be crucial moving forward.
