Pros
Flexible schedule (Come when you can.; If you can only do 6 hours, that’s acceptable.)
Everyone’s friendly.
Sometimes, there is free food and snacks.
The work is decently proportional to the pay. It’s quick money.
Protective equipment is provided (masks, latex & rubber gloves, safety glasses, aprons, shirts)
Cons
Have to deal with odorous waste (You get used to it. ; Some people can’t handle it though.)
Sometimes, you have to work under unbearable heat as there is poor ventilation and lack of shade at times.
The free food and snacks aren’t healthy (mostly processed/ultra-processed).
Dietary restrictions are not always accommodated for.
Benefits aren’t all that great. (Might as well do without it.)
Getting to the work station from parking is quite a walk (same for getting to the break room).
There is only one microwave to share for everyone in the breakroom and it is not a powerful microwave, so you have to wait a bit.
Turnover rate is high.
