What is a typical working day like at MGM Resorts International?

Working with others,development of relationships with patrons.

Long hours, very inexperienced leadership, who have " gotcha " mentality. Hours vs pay is ridiculous. Bad micromanagement. No life work balance, texts and emails all day and night

Good benefits, flexible schedules, and made commission.

No raises, most newer hires have to work graveyard shifts.

Great pay for low-skilled work

Very unrealistic expectations around time management with regards to cleaning rooms. For example, it is impossible to clean 14 checkout rooms in an 8 hour shift without compromising on some of the standards set (like dusting, vacuuming, thorough cleaning, etc.). Housekeeping is a very physically demanding job, and you either figure out how to "clean", or you get fired as the expectation is always to complete all your rooms (regardless). Wouldn't recommend working here.
